NY Innovative Theatre Awards
Stolen Chair's Cameron J. Oro nominated for Best Lead Actor in Stage Kiss

At the New York Innovative Theatre Awards Gala on July 17th, Stolen Chair's Cameron J. Oro was honored with a Best Actor in a Lead Role nomination for his performance as the fair virgin Gallathea in Stage Kiss.

The awards ceremony will take place on September 18th, hosted by Tony Award-winning actor, director, and playwright Charles Busch (coincidentally one of the artists whose work inspired Stage Kiss).

We hope you will all come out and support Cameron and Stolen Chair!!!

The Noir Project (Working Title)
Opening January 6th, 2007 (NYC)

While we won't know much until we go into our creative retreat in late August, we do know that Stolen Chair's next collectively created original production will be a live Film Noir for the stage. We're hoping it will be chock full of whiskey-guzzling detectives, leggy femme fatales, smoking guns, dark alleys, and even darker comedy.

Listen to our Co-Artistic Directors chat about FringeNYC

NYtheatre.com summer festival reviewers Pun Bandhu, Jon Stancato, Kiran Rikhye, and Jesica Avellone look forward to a summer of festival-going and critiquing in this unique dialogue. Also featured in this nytheatrecast, nytheatre.com editor Martin Denton talks about the 10th annual festival with Elena Holy, producing artistic director of the Fringe.
