Stage Kiss is one of OffOffOnline's "Best of Season Memories"

OffOffOnline reviewer William Cordeiro remembers, "[Stage Kiss] played wittily with the conventions of past theatrical traditions...[and] managed to find some meaningfully new things to say about that age-old topic, love." Read the full article.

Stage Kiss DVD's will be available for purchase soon, but in the meantime, you can browse reviews, photos, and an excerpt at www.stolenchair.org/stagekiss.

"Vernon gives us a masterful rendition of a complex sexual autobiography. Her performance is sensual yet sensitive; she subtly interweaves the trauma of sexual abuse with bawdy humor. We can laugh along with her at the same time that we can appreciate the gravity of her life changing experiences."
--David Tennenbaum, The Fifth Street Review

The Noir Project (Working Title)
Opening January 6th, 2007 (NYC)

While we won't know much until we go into our creative retreat in late August, we do know that Stolen Chair's next collectively created original production will be a live Film Noir for the stage. We're hoping it will be chock full of whiskey-guzzling detectives, leggy femme fatales, smoking guns, dark alleys, and even darker comedy.
