This season will follow the development of Stolen Chair's 14th original work, Cut Paste Corset Perfect, freely inspired by the Victorian photocollages exhibited in the Metropolitan Museum's recent show Playing with Pictures. On Sunday, Nov 21, over 35 prospective PlayGround members joined us at Space on White to eat, drink, and be artsy. In honor of the photocollages inspiring Cut Paste Corset Perfect, Aviva, Media Director and chef extraordinaire, prepared a lavish spread of spreads and toppings for members to make their own foodie-collages. After screening Tierney Bryce's terrific short documentary (see above!), we previewed clips from some of film's best stabs at Victoriana and collage. We finished the evening brainstorming the world of Cut Paste Corset Perfect, with PlayGround members giving us ample fodder to bring to this weekend's creative retreat...
